USCET is unique in its focus on serving China's scholars and future leaders with resources in concert with their own institutions. USCET's networks now include more than 60 Chinese universities.
The ASN, formed by USCET in 2004, has grown to a network of over 50 Chinese academic institutions that offer programs in American Studies. USCET supports the ASN through programs that strengthen and expand the teaching of American Studies and understanding of the United States.
U.S. Soft Power & Social Equality September 23-25, 2011 Changchun, Jilin
The 8th annual ASN conference focused on the relationship between social equality and soft power. It was co-sponsored by the US-China Education Trust and Northeast Normal University.
The MEC brings together 38 of China's leading institutions in journalism and communications enabling them to utilize common resources to enrich curricula and exchange ideas, and providing opportunities to interact with practitioners from both the domestic and international media.

F.Y. Chang Lecture
The F.Y. Chang Lecture, a joint program of Peking University Law School, Tsinghua University Law School and the Harvard University Law School East Asian Legal Studies Program, brings together legal scholars from Greater China and the US to carry on F.Y. Chang's legacy of sharing knowledge and advancing respect for the rule of law.
USCET Scholarship programs give exceptional students from China's poorest families an opportunity to attend Yunnan University and the Agriculture University of Hebei, helping students to expand their future employment prospects and escape the cycle of poverty.
